Itinerary

  • Day 1: Welcome to Uganda! By our company representative and Drive to Murchison falls Hopefully, your flight is scheduled for an early (not past noon) landing in Entebbe international Airport.
  • Day 2: After early morning breakfast drive to Budongo Forest and begin your bird safaris.
  • Day 3 & 4: Budongo Forest and Game drive and boat safari in Murchison Falls National Park as you expect over 450 species. Take a stopover for a 'leg stretch' which may reveal Olive bellied Bronze and Copper Sun birds, Compact Weaver, Dark Chanting Goshawk, Saddle billed Stork and any others. park as we bird to the Top of the mighty falls were they drop 45 meters and forces its way through a 7 meter fissure. Rock Pranticoles, a mixed flock of swifts, Africa Pied Wagtail, reptiles such as Red headed Agama continue birding to your accommodation as you wait for Dinner and Overnight.
  • Day 5 & 6: Hoima & Fort Portal
  • Day 7: Semuliki National Park: It's an eastern extension of the vast Ituri forest in Democratic Republic of Congo. It forms part of the forest continuum resulting out of the climatic upheavals of the Pleistocene and therefore one of the richest areas for both flora and fauna in Africa especially birds.
  • Day 8: Kibale Forest National Park Kibale Forest,National Park is located just east of the Ruwenzori Mountains, near the town of Fort Portal. Chimpanzee tracking is excellent thanks to several walking trails and a large number of resident Chimp families in the forest. There is also a wonderfully diverse concentration of other primates (of any forest in East Africa in fact), including: Red Colobus, Red-tailed Guenon, White-nosed Monkey, Gray-cheeked Mangabey, Blue Monkey, L'Hoest's Monkey, and the Black and White Colobus Monkey. In addition, you may see Olive Baboons, Bush Babies and Nocturnal Pottos, as these animals have been the subject of long-term research projects, and so they are used to human presence.
  • Day 9 & 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park: game drive & boat safari on Kazinga Channel. the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens of enormous craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga chennal with its banks lined elephants, and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob and chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura gorge.
  • Day 11 & 12: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Is the Bird watcher's paradise! It holds 348 species of birds and contains 90% of all Albertine rift Endemic such as; the Short-tailed Warbler, Rusty-faced woodland Warbler, Bar-tailed Trogon, Gruel's Rush Warbler, Wilcock's Honey-guide, Yellow-eyed black Fly-catcher, Kivu Ground Thrush, Dusky Crimson Wing, White-tailed Blue Monarch among others, difficult or impossible to see in any other part of East Africa. An optional visit of Batwa Pigymes community areas can be arranged for interested parties
  • Day 13 & 14: Lake Bunyonyi and Echuya Forest, One can say all kinds of things about Lake Bunyonyi in Uganda – how large it is, how deep it is, how it was formed, what activities one can do on and around the   lake – but when you visit Lake Bunyonyi – all those things dissipate into thin air – what you see is one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa  – Lake Bunyonyi – one is simply awed by its mystical beauty as you see it snaking along the Ugandan landscape, dotted by 29 islands of various shapes and sizes, surrounded by a ring of terraced farms – their greenery accenting this mystical lake like a lovely frame.Lake Bunyonyi – meaning the “place of little birds” is a restorative place, a place of solace, of rest, of  quietness, of reflection. 
  • Day 14: After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park and enter the Park through the Nshara Gate. The afternoon game drive will take you along the lakeshore track, and with its own system of game trails and cleared walkways, the "Kigambara Loop" offers interesting guided lakeside walks. Here you can find herds of zebra, cape buffalo and eland, and Pribi and topi are easy to approach. Along with the game drive, many visitors also enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo and self-guided nature trails. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo including Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings, Carruther's Cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird.
  • Day 15 & 16: Mabamba swamps another special bird area with a population of Shoebills. Most of the birding here is done canoeing and other species to be seen may include; Goliath, Purple, long Toed Plover, African water Rail, Grey and Black Headed Herons, Squacco Heron, Pygmy Goose, Yellow Billed Duck, Black Crake, White Faced Whistling Duck, Swamp Moorhen, Allen's Gallinule, African Jacana etc Sitatunga Antelope (swamp Antelope) and many more. Connect to Kampala stop by another swamp which may reveal Yellow Crowned Bishop, Papyrus Gonolek, Weyns Weaver, White winged Warble and lastly Entebbe for your flight back
  • Day 17: After your early morning breakfast transferred to Entebbe international airpoert for your flight back
