Itinerary
Day 1: Welcome to Uganda ! By our company representative a Guide/
Driver and transferred to your Hotel in Kampala/Entebbe
Day 2 & 3: Kibale Forest National Park is located just east of
the Ruwenzori Mountains, near the town of Fort Portal. Chimpanzee
tracking is excellent thanks to several walking trails and a large
number of resident Chimp families in the forest. There is also a
wonderfully diverse concentration of other primates of any forest
in East Africa in fact including: Red Colobus, Red- tailed Guenon,
White-nosed Monkey, Gray-cheeked Mangabey, Blue Monkey, L'Hoest's
Monkey, and the Black and White Colobus Monkey. In addition, you
may see Olive Baboons, Bush Babies and Nocturnal Pottos, as these
animals have been the subject of long-term research projects, and
so they are used to human presence.
Day 4 & 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park: game drive & boat safari
on Kazinga Channel. the park’s magnificent vistas include dozens
of enormous craters carved dramatically into rolling green hills,
panoramic views of the Kazinga channel with its banks lined
elephants, and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide
lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kob and
chimpanzee tracking at Kyambura gorge.
Day 6 &: Gorillas tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The
highlight of your safari, with the giants gorillas of Bwindi
Expect to walk a long distance in steep and muddy conditions,
sometimes with rain overhead, before you encounter any gorillas.
But it will definitely be worthwhile as you observe them closely
while they eat, play and rest.An optional visit of Batwa community
areas can be arranged for interested parties.
